World Hepatitis Day 2017 is a campaign to raise awareness of chronic hepatitis A, B and C. On this day, the world joins together to drive action, to transform the lives of 300+ million people and to play a part in the fight to eliminate viral hepatitis by 2030.

National Pyjama Day 2017 is about raising much needed awareness and funds for children in foster care. By wearing your favourite PJ’s and by making a donation, you’ll be helping foster children achieve their dreams.

July is Sarcoma Awareness Month

Sarcoma awareness month is designed to promote awareness about the ‘forgotten cancer’ and find a cure in time. “Sarcomas” is a cancerous (malignant) tumor of the connective tissue.

“Sarcomas are rare cancers and occur in approximately 1% of the Australian population. It is an alarming issue which needs attention.”

World Scleroderma Day

is an event to raise awareness about scleroderma.

This is a chronic connective tissue disease generally classified as one of the autoimmune rheumatic diseases. Scleroderma can cause serious damage to internal organs including the lungs, heart, kidneys, esophagus, and gastrointestinal tract.
